Palmilla Golf Club
The 27-hole course of the One&Only Palmilla Golf Club, which overlooks the Sea of Cortez, was designed by Jack Nicklaus. The golf course is divided into three nines, each named after a particular terrain characteristic. The front and back nines are played in three separate 18-hole layouts, providing golfers a unique experience. Palmilla Golf Club was Jack Nicklaus’s first design in Latin America and is regarded as the Grand Dame of golf in Los Cabos.
Querencia Golf Club
Querencia Golf & Country Club is situated at the tip of the Baja California peninsula, surrounded by the splendor of Los Cabos. The dazzling blue waves of the Sea of Cortez almost wholly encircle the breathtaking landscape. Tom Fazio created one of Querencia’s two courses. It is his first course in Mexico and has garnered quite a reputation. Golfweek ranked it as the top course in Mexico; the design spans 300 acres, winding through steep arroyos and up calm plateaus.
Cabo Real Golf Club
Cabo Real Golf Club is the centerpiece of a 2,800-acre resort and residential community with 3.2 miles of beachfront and a Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed multi-themed, target-style course. Reversing the club’s nines has enhanced the layout’s flow and drama. Cabo Real has held two PGA Senior Slam competitions (1996 and 1999) and is an excellent and well-balanced golf course. Typically, uphill holes are played with the prevailing onshore wind, whereas downhill holes are played with the prevailing onshore breeze.
